Our Mission.
As Many Kids Playing as Possible.
For as Long as Possible.
In the Best Conditions Possible.

The Big Walnut Lacrosse Association (BWLA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization formed in 2007 with the primary goal of promoting lacrosse in the Big Walnut community and promoting Big Walnut Lacrosse in Central Ohio. All players are required to have active memberships with USA Lacrosse during their active season of play.

Forgot your membership number? Need a membership? Please visit USA Lacrosse here. Please use the full membership number, including any zeroes at the beginning, when entering it into your registration.

The mission of the BWLA is to provide a fun, safe and positive character-building experience for all school-aged boys and girls to learn and experience the game of lacrosse, with an emphasis on inspiring participation, developing fundamental skills, instilling knowledge of the game, and promoting the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, responsibility, and respect for the sport, officials, coaches, teammates, and self.

BWLA believes demonstrating and promoting these values within a competitive program that puts teamwork and learning before individual achievement will develop quality lacrosse players as well as proud members of the Big Walnut community.

The BWLA supports the views of the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Our youth boys' teams are members of the Central Ohio Youth Lacrosse League (COYLL).

Our youth girls' teams are members of the Central Ohio Girls Youth Lacrosse Association (COGYLA).
